Our BECE Timetable Tool is built to provide easy access to the official exam schedule, subject-specific timings, and dates for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
We also include essential guidelines and resources to help you prepare effectively for the BECE. We hope it helps you stay organised and maximise your performance.
How to use the BECE timetable tool?
Here’s how to use this tool to stay on top of your BECE preparation.
- Select your exam type: Choose whether you are a BECE school or private candidate.
- Choose your view mode: Use the Daily View to view the schedule by date or Subject View to view it by subject.
- When using Subject View, you can filter by subject to focus on specific exams, such as Social Studies, Mathematics, or Computing.
Important notes
Before the exams begin, keep these rules in mind to avoid surprises:
- You’ll write both papers for a subject in one sitting.
- If the question paper shows a different time from the timetable, follow the time on the paper.
- Visually or hearing-impaired candidates get 50% more time for each paper.

Use this checklist to stay ready and confident:
- Pack at least two pens, pencils, an eraser, a ruler, and a calculator (if allowed).
- Bring a small water bottle and a light snack for breaks.
- Arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes early.
- Leave bags, phones, and unnecessary items at home or with your teachers outside the exam hall.
